Meet our staff:
Slaughter, Owner of The Muttley Crew
extensive experience with dogs includes more than 30 years of
experience in pet care and grooming.
The Muttley Crew is Jeff’s fifth independently owned grooming
shop and his first doggy day care. He is a Certified Master
Groomer and former veterinary technician with an extraordinary
understanding of dogs. His grooming specialties are terriers and
rare breeds, but all dogs look fantastic after a visit with
Jeff. Jeff always enjoys seeing his long-time doggy friends, as
well as meeting new ones. He hopes The Muttley Crew fills the
needs of busy pet owners and gives their precious pets a safe
and fun place to play.
Donalee Fox started as an intern through the program we have
with Merlo High School.
She first volunteered, then worked as a daycare attendant. She
then moved up to a bathing position, and now has taken over as
store manager....all in four years. Quite a feat for such a
young person. Donalee always has a bright smile as she greets
the clients and their pet alike. She is the quintessential pet

Dixon, is a valuable addition to our grooming staff.
She has 14 years grooming experience and such a great love of
animals and it shows in her work.
Jennifer has also worked as a vet tech during her companion
Every dog she grooms comes out looking and smelling great.
She is the owner of one very cute Shih Tzu and two Malamutes.
Angela George has been with us since early 2011. She has
5 years grooming experience, but don't let that fool you!
She has the talent and wisdom far beyond her years of
grooming. Angela has an inherit knack for grooming and an
unbelievable sense for detail.
All of her dogs go out groomed to perfection. She is kind and
patient with even the most difficult dog. She has two Boxers and
a rescue Boston at home.
Hamilton is back! Jeanne was grooming for us when the
store first opened in 2006.
She left to move to Arizona a year later. Jeanne has
been in the grooming industry for over 20 years.
We are so glad to have another groomer with the skills
to match our high standards, not to mention
the standards of our clients. She has brought back one
of our favorite regular store dogs, Piggy the pug! She
also owns a very happy and charming Golden.
Frasier, our lead bather, has been working with in the dog field
for 10 years.
He trains and raises bird dogs. He owns two
pointers Stone and Dozer who are always at his side.
Harry is not only the best bather in town, but also does private
obedience training sessions. Just ask for his info at the front counter. He is one of the few
trainers that can teach the proper
use of slip collars and e-collars.
Harry has become such an integral part of our team, I don't know
what we'd do without him!
Olds started at The Muttley Crew as a volunteer. She then became
a dog daycare attendant and then worked for several years as one
of our top notch bathers. She is now in charge of the reception
area and retail in the afternoons. All of our dogs just adore
her.She knows them all by name and also knows their little
quirks!! She is holding her little rescue dog, Charlie. He's
always by her side!
Elmer and Chrys are very passionate about our furry friends that
come and visit.
Both of the guys have such good skills at working with the dogs.
They are both very observant when it comes
to health issues and behavior problems. All the dogs love both
of them and jump for joy when they arrive.
The employees of The Muttley Crew miss David, as well as all of
the regulars who came to know him.
David worked here for 6 and a half years. He worked from open to
close and never missed one day of work.
He is now in a nursing home after suffering from a series of
strokes. We all miss you David.
